The Match Format

The 4-Game Sequence

Every Klyng Cup match consists of 4 games plus a potential Tiebreaker. Captains set lineups before each game begins.

Game 01

Men's Doubles

Two male-identifying players from each team compete. First to 11, win by 2.

Game 02

Women's Doubles

Two female-identifying players from each team compete. First to 11, win by 2.

Game 03

Mixed Doubles 1

One male and one female player from each team. First to 11, win by 2.

Game 04

Mixed Doubles 2

A second mixed pair from each team. Different players from Mixed 1. First to 11, win by 2.

Sudden Death Tiebreaker

When teams split the 4 games 2–2, a Sudden Death Tiebreaker decides the match winner.

All 4 players from each team participate
First to 11 points, win by 2
Players rotate sides every 4 points
Captain sets rotation order before the game

Team Standings Impact: Match Win = 3 points. Match Loss = 1 point. No team earns 0 — showing up counts.
